A casting for the national beauty contest "Miss Belarus-2020" was held in Vitebsk
Representatives of the Vitebsk region proved themselves not just as bright young women meeting all modeling parameters, but also demonstrated that their beauty goes hand in hand with talent. They surprised with their performance of an aria from the opera "Prince Igor," easily performed splits, danced, and even brought their handicrafts. For example, cute felted animal figures made the jury members – Uncle Vanya (Ivan Vabishchevich) and Evgeny Bulka – smile with delight. Future teacher Victoria Andreeva from Orsha presented four embroidered towels made by herself.
– I am 18 years old, I study at the Orsha Pedagogical College, – smiles Vika. – Why did I bring handicrafts? I guessed it would be interesting. Moreover, so much effort was put into the embroidery. I am also ready to put in all my efforts to become a successful model. My parents and older brother Vladislav are rooting for me.
The casting in the building of the "Slavyansky Bazaar" directorate immediately gives the opportunity to feel like stars, jokes 21-year-old Daria Urban from Novopolotsk:
– I have experience participating in beauty contests. For example, two years ago I was awarded the title of "Miss Novopolotsk", and last summer at the "Viva Braslav" festival I became "Miss Fitness". Over the past year, I set a high bar for myself – I strictly monitored my diet, trained a lot, and good skin and a toned body did not keep me waiting. At the same time, I believe that physical beauty is a complement to who you are as a person. And such contests are a litmus test that gives a chance to reveal yourself.
By the way, Dasha is an economist, she works and continues her studies in the master's program at Polotsk State University. She also finds time for her hobbies. She dedicated sixteen years to the vocal and choreographic ensemble "Komariki". Therefore, when the jury asked her to sing, she did not refuse, and her strong, well-trained voice filled the hall.
The casting was not numerous, but productive, believes Elena Troitskaya, director of the National Beauty School:
– Vitebsk contestants for "Miss Belarus" are strong and worthy participants. Their type is a bit different from other regions, it's more northern, you could say, Nordic. The girls have excellent chances to compete for the winner's crown. Let's not forget that it was the Vitebsk women who once represented Belarus at "Miss World".
In mid-March, the semi-final of the competition will be held in Minsk, which will bring together the top 100 beauties and intelligent women from all regions of the country. Who among them will become a finalist of "Miss Belarus"? The intrigue continues.
