A training seminar on the organization of student detachment activities was held in Vitebsk
The methodological interactive session, held two to three times a year, brought together commanders of territorial student detachment headquarters and full-time BRSM workers, student detachment members, as well as representatives of the departments of ideological work, culture, and youth affairs of district executive committees. The seminar is an integral part of the student detachment movement, the main goal of which is to develop and improve the quality of student detachment activities, train and prepare the command staff of the regional headquarters of student detachments of the Vitebsk region.
According to Irina Alyushina, commissioner of the regional headquarters of student detachments, it is planned to employ over 5,000 student detachment members in the Vitebsk region during the third labor semester.
The seminar began with the campaign #MyBoevka. Uniform denim jackets were sewn for the commanders and commissioners of student detachments, for which new insignia were developed – chevrons and patches, which the young men and women sewed onto their jackets themselves. Thematic classes on the main norms of the legal framework and labor protection organization, features of tax legislation, etc., were organized for the seminar participants. And the best student detachment members in the country – from PSU – conducted an interactive program and a master class on commissar activities.
By the way, to date, over a thousand young people have applied for employment in student teams. Currently, employers in the Vitebsk region have provided more than a hundred jobs for student team members.
– This year, teams have been formed to work abroad. For example, youth from the northern region of Belarus will go to work in the Krasnodar Territory at the All-Russian Children's Center "Orlyonok". The Russian side has undertaken all obligations for paying for PCR tests, – noted Irina Alyushina. – The teams are not yet fully formed, so there is still some time for those who wish to join the pedagogical and service teams.
Young men and women will also be involved in road repair work on the M1 highway. Student teams from PSU will go to the All-Belarusian Youth Construction site at the Belarusian NPP. And approximately 100 people will work at CJSC "Atlant", which last year for the first time accepted young people from Vitebsk for summer employment. Therefore, it was decided to form one team of about 20 people from each university in the region.
As noted at the seminar, this year a new student team – an archaeological one (from PSU students) – will join the agricultural, production, construction, pedagogical, service, and medical teams. It will be involved in repair work at the youth construction site at the Polotsk Cadet School.
The issue of individual employment for 14-year-old teenagers was also touched upon. Thus, district labor headquarters are recommended to establish contact not only with school principals, who can involve students, for example, in the repair of educational institutions, but also to conduct a constructive dialogue with local enterprises. Forestry enterprises are also ready to accept schoolchildren for work within their capabilities, and peasant farms are interested in additional labor.
