A festive concert dedicated to March 8 was held in Vitebsk
– March 8 is one of the most popular and beloved holidays. On this sunny spring day, I want to congratulate you, say thank you for your work, assure you that we appreciate and love you, and wish you all the best, brightest, and most wonderful! And also – love, because this is the most important thing for women, – Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin addressed the attendees.
The head of the region also added that everything happens thanks to and because of the fair sex. Women support men and inspire them to important deeds.
After the governor's greeting, the artists took the floor. The festive concert featured both professional performers and groups, as well as amateur ones. The hosts were actors from the Yanka Kupala National Theatre, who not only presented the acts but also entertained with jokes and never tired of complimenting the fair sex.
In general, the entire program was built on declarations of love for a woman, mother, wife, friend. Lyrical songs and energetic dances performed by ensembles of the regional philharmonic, the Vitebsk Culture Center, the I. Solertinsky Music College, the College of Culture and Arts, and Vitebsk State University named after P. Masherov, among others, were dedicated to the heroines of the meeting.
