В Витебске прошло праздничное мероприятие в рамках проекта БСЖ «Женское лицо Победы»

A festive event was held at the Palace of Culture of the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine as part of the Belarusian Women's Union project "The Female Face of Victory".

A touching literary and musical composition dedicated to the fate of women of different ages during wartime was presented to the audience. On the eve of the Great Victory Day, women from different countries spoke about peace in the sky above their heads, about the heroes who won Victory with their blood, and about their wives, mothers, and sisters who waited for their dear men with faith in their hearts.

The fair half of humanity agreed on one thing: preserving peace and warmth of the family hearth is a task no less heroic than defending the Motherland. The older generation reminded the youth of the importance of appreciating their time, opportunities, and the simplest solar joy. Schoolchildren and students, in turn, expressed deep gratitude and respect to the wise guests.

– Time has chosen us to multiply peace and love. "And we, women, understand this better than anyone," noted Marina Novitskaya, Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Regional Executive Committee, leader of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Women's Union. – In fact, patriotism is very simple: it is enough to love your family, work responsibly, and always extend a helping hand to those in need.
