A solemn event dedicated to the Day of the State Emblem, State Flag and State Anthem of the Republic of Belarus, with the participation of representatives of authorities, veterans, work collectives, public organizations and educational institutions of the city, was held on the site near the Vitebsk State Medical University named after the Order of Friendship of Peoples. The patriotic holiday inspired Vitebsk residents to reflect on serious matters, and also allowed them to feel true national unity.

– State symbols have a special meaning for each of us, – noted Anatoly Linevich, First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee. – By honoring the Belarusian emblem, flag and anthem, we pay tribute to the heroic history of the country, pledge allegiance to the Motherland in the present, and express our readiness to consciously build our future.

It is unlikely that the residents of Vitebsk will be bored on this day. As part of the festive events dedicated to the national holiday, a motorcycle rally will be held in the city. About 400 participants will start at noon on Beshenkovichi Highway, ride through the central streets and avenues of the regional center, and also take part in a solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the Eternal Flame on Victory Square.

After that, the participants of the motorcycle rally will support the BRSM NGO's "Photo with the Native Flag" campaign and, together with young activists, will unfurl a 12-meter flag of the Republic of Belarus on the slope of the Western Dvina.

Then the motorcycle convoy will head to the complex of cultural and mass recreation named after the Soviet Army, where at 14:00 an exciting concert program will begin with the participation of creative groups of the Vitebsk Culture Center, the energetic drummers "Baraband" and the "Seca Band" group, a favorite of Russian rock fans. The park will feature thematic areas, food courts, a motorcycle exhibition, and attractions.
