A charity marathon “15 good deeds” is taking place in Vitebsk

Today marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union. The marathon, involving volunteers of the "Kind Heart" movement, participants of student teams, and activists of the youth organization of Vitebsk, is dedicated to this event.

As reported by the city committee of the BRYM, the marathon started on September 4. The list of fifteen points includes helping those in need. This involves providing targeted assistance to a former VSU professor, some large families, a celebration for the pupils of the Vitebsk Children's Home, for the day care department for people with disabilities of the Pervomaisky district TCSON, landscaping the territories of the churches of Andrew the First-Called and Saint Tatiana, kindergarten No. 7, and the alley of the 85th anniversary of the LKSMB in the Railway Workers' Park of Culture and Recreation. The youth will also participate in the "Donate Blood - Save Someone's World" campaign and organize a charity event at the Vitebsk animal shelter.

In addition, as part of the 15th anniversary, on September 6, the regional committee of the BRYM will hold a unique meeting of generations at the Vitebsk Regional Museum of Local Lore. During the "open dialogue" "15 Years Together," leaders of the organization from different years, along with today's activists, will discuss the main achievements and results of their work, and share plans and prospects. An exhibition detailing the formation, development, and achievements of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the BRYM is also displayed there.
