The interregional universal exhibition-fair "Beauty Industry" is taking place in Vitebsk.

The long-awaited, albeit only calendar, spring reminds us that it's time to wake up from winter hibernation and spruce up. And the upcoming International Women's Day calls for going gift shopping for loved ones. The interregional universal exhibition-fair "Beauty Industry," which opened yesterday at the Vitebsk Concert Hall, will help solve both these tasks at once. By the way, its organizers – the Vitebsk City Executive Committee together with the Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center State Enterprise – have also taken care of an educational program for entrepreneurs.

On the opening day, seminars "Profitable Franchising," "Real Estate for Your Business" with the participation of the Vitebsk Regional Property Fund, and "Assistance in Entrepreneurship Development," conducted by representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Vitebsk City Employment Center, were held. And this is important, as private enterprises play a significant role in the beauty industry, noted Valentin Tsvetkov, Head of the Entrepreneurship Department of the Regional Executive Committee's Economics Committee.

At the fair, which will run until March 3, you can buy handmade gifts and souvenirs for the holiday, as well as treat yourself to new outfits and fashion accessories. Spring is the season of love, so you can also look for a wedding dress from leading Vitebsk salons. A wedding fashion show as part of the exhibition is taking place today, as is the first eyelash extension competition in Belarus. Its winners will become participants in the international charity eyelash extension championship "Kolibri FEST," which will be held in Moscow. Meanwhile, makeup artists are surprising visitors with their "Spring in Flowers" creations, and fashion designers are showcasing collections of stylish women's, children's, and youth clothing.

The event also summarized the work of enterprises and organizations on the development and promotion of domestic manufacturers' brands in the Belarusian and foreign markets. OJSC "Znamya Industrializatsii", RUP "Vitebsk Fur Combine", ZAO Orsha Firm "Svitank", KUP "Postavy District Service Combine" were recognized as the best. In addition, for their active creative stance, the director of the student Fashion House of Vitebsk State Technological University Ekaterina Petkevich and fashion designer Irina Yurchenko, and the staff of Vitebsk State Vocational-Technical College of Light Industry were noted. As noted by Zinaida Koroleva, Deputy Chairperson of the City Executive Committee, Vitebsk is not only a festival capital but also, in recent years, a center for various exhibitions, each with its own format. But the idea of this event is special, as it is about beauty, which, as is known, is invincible.
