The first organizational session of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies was held in Vitebsk

On March 29, 2014, the first organizational session of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies of the 27th convocation was held, at which the chairman and his deputy were elected from among the deputies, and the working bodies of the Council of Deputies were formed.

Atyasov Alexander Egorovich, deputy from the Gorodok electoral district No. 9, was elected Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, and Khristoforov Alexander Nikolaevich, deputy from the Dubrovensky electoral district No. 11, was elected deputy chairman on a voluntary basis.

5 permanent commissions of the regional Council of Deputies were formed, their composition and chairmen were elected:

  • Commission on Local Self-Government and Rules of Procedure – Chairman – Vankevich Vladimir Anatolyevich, deputy from the Chashniksky electoral district No. 36;
  • Commission on Social Sphere, Social Protection of Citizens and Youth Affairs – Chairman – Zhelanova Galina Petrovna, deputy from the Rossony electoral district No. 31;
  • Commission on Budget and Economic Development – Chairman – Murashko Georgy Georgievich, deputy from the Tolochinsky electoral district No. 33;
  • Commission on Agro-Industrial Complex and Ecology – Chairman – Slavetsky Viktor Bronislavovich, deputy from the Braslavsky electoral district No. 2;
  • Commission on Industry, Transport, Development of the Construction Complex, Housing and Communal Services and Road Management – Chairman – Kharitonov Pavel Ivanovich, deputy from the Novolukomlsky electoral district No. 37.

The presidium of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies was formed, consisting of:

Atyasov Alexander Egorovich – Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies;

Khristoforov Alexander Nikolaevich – Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies;

Vankevich Vladimir Anatolyevich – Chairman of the permanent commission on local self-government and rules of procedure;

Zhelvanova Galina Petrovna – Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Social Sphere, Social Protection of Citizens and Youth Affairs;

Murashko Georgy Georgievich – Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Budget and Economic Development;

Slavetsky Viktor Bronislavovich – Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Agro-Industrial Complex and Ecology;

Kharitonov Pavel Ivanovich – Chairperson of the Standing Commission on Industry, Transport, Development of the Construction Complex, Housing and Communal Services and Road Management;

Podolyak Elena Mikhailovna – Deputy from the Chapayevsky Electoral District No. 51;

Bokhan Alexander Ivanovich – Deputy from the Yuzhny Electoral District No. 58;

Vinokurov Ruslan Vasilievich – Deputy from the Shumilinsky Electoral District No. 39;

Isachenko Igor Vladimirovich – Deputy from the Shkolny Electoral District No. 59.
