A large-scale youth forum "Time of Your Opportunities" has started in Vitebsk
– A lot is being done for youth in Belarus, as they are our present and future. For two days, the regional forum for young specialists and working youth from various fields who contribute to the region's development will become a unifying platform. In different locations, they will learn about the achievements of sovereign Belarus and will be able to raise pressing issues at meetings with heads of various departments, – noted Vyacheslav Khrol, Deputy Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Regional Executive Committee. – The idea of the forum is also for the participants to get to know each other, exchange initiatives and contacts in order to interact and develop their professional skills in the future. The project consists of various sections: from transport and communications to agriculture and industry. We understand that at such events, young people unite to work for the benefit of our country.
The forum has brought together almost five hundred people for the first time and consists of ten sections with educational intensives, meetings with experts, representatives of authorities, the business community, etc. During the dialogue platforms, participants will discuss issues of conducting the electoral campaign and the opportunities for modern youth.
– Belarus is a state for the people. We see how cities are being transformed, how various sectors of the national economy are developing. We face the tasks of preserving and improving the quality of life, and the competencies that you are now acquiring in your professional fields, in various social institutions, are important and necessary for our people and for the future, – noted Yuri Derkach, Chairman of the regional trade union association.
By the way. Tomorrow, thematic events "Time of Your Opportunities" will be held in each region of the Vitebsk region.
Egor Gaisenok, a master at Tolochin PMS, is confident that at such forums, the tandem of new knowledge and interesting acquaintances gives an impetus for development.
– I am interested in visiting industrial sites: to get acquainted with the production of "Vitstroytehmash" and "Vitebskiye Kovry". Any information is valuable. I think that similar events are also important for retaining youth in their local areas, – noted Egor Gaisenok.
Participants of the "Leskhoz" block of the regional forum "Time of Your Opportunities" visited a dialogue platform where the speakers were Yuri Lipsky, General Director of Vitebsk GPLKHO, Deputy of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, and Yuri Panfilov, member of the House of Representatives Council.
