The regional festival "Youth for Peace and Creation" has started in Vitebsk

The event began with a series of discussion platforms. One of them took place at the Vitebsk branch of MITSO International University, where the speaker was the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Vyacheslav Durnov.

– On the International Children's Day, the regional festival "Youth for Peace and Creation" is being held. Peace and creation are two concepts that are very important in the life of every person. The development of the country, family, and each of us is possible only in peaceful conditions. Then you want to build, create, and innovate. We see how the world is boiling in modern realities. It is the youth who bear great responsibility for the future of our state, – emphasized Vyacheslav Durnov.

The dialogue was lively, students asked questions of interest, and expressed their opinions on how the younger generation sees the future of Belarus, how they imagine peace, and in what they see their creative participation in the life of the city, region, and country.

At the open dialogue, the Deputy Chairman of the City Executive Committee Viktor Glushin noted that a bright creative tandem has formed at the university, and one of the winners of the youth initiatives competition was the "Forensic Laboratory" of the Vitebsk branch of MITSO International University and the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk Region.

Tamara Batalko, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Law and Socio-Humanitarian Disciplines of the Vitebsk Branch of MITSO International University, told those present how one of the oldest international holidays – Children's Day – came about.
