A 5-year-old child drowned in Vitebsk

In Vitebsk, a 5-year-old boy drowned in a pond on a private property near 1-ya Bitylevskaya Street.

The child got lost, and the parents initially searched for him themselves but did not find him and contacted the police. Law enforcement officers suspected that the child had drowned and informed the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The worst assumptions were confirmed: rescuers recovered the boy from a dug pond about 2 meters deep, located on a neighboring property.
