The composition of 60 district commissions for the election of deputies to the regional council has been approved in Vitebsk
Commenting on this stage of the election campaign at the request of journalists, the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, Vladimir Terentyev, noted that a total of 749 applications were submitted. "Public associations and political parties showed the greatest activity - more than 60% of the total number of applications. Applications from work collectives account for 9.9%. 29.5% of applications were submitted by collecting citizens' signatures," he noted.
Vladimir Terentyev emphasized that when approving the list of members of the district election commissions, the presidium of the regional council and the regional executive committee sought to take into account the interests of all public associations and political parties that have declared their intention to actively participate in the election campaign to the maximum extent.
