In Vitebsk, the foundation for a new workshop of 'Energokomplekt' was laid in a solemn ceremony

"Energokomplekt" Production Association LLC solemnly laid the foundation for a new workshop, the construction of which marks the start of the enterprise's long-term development strategy for the period up to 2035. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev.

Today, "Energokomplekt" is the leader in cable product manufacturing in Belarus, ranks 3rd in processing volumes in the CIS countries, and its products are preferred in 20 countries worldwide. The foundation of success is continuous development: new workshops are being built, modern equipment is being implemented, and new types of products and their manufacturing technologies are being mastered. Today, "Energokomplekt" is already outgrowing its existing facilities, which is why it was decided to lay another workshop at the enterprise's main site on Moskovsky Prospekt in the regional center.

Nikolai Sherstnev familiarized himself with the enterprise's production prospects and, together with the head of Vitebsk, Vadim Zaryankin, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Energokomplekt" Production Association LLC, Sergey Podgaisky, signed a symbolic address to the labor collective of 2035.

This message was placed in a special capsule, which will then be stored in the foundation of the new building. The head of the region assessed the factory infrastructure, which is developing not only in the production direction. The enterprise pays great attention to social aspects. Honored guests were able to see this for themselves when they visited an originally designed outdoor recreation area. It is located between massive production workshops. As a memento of the visit, Nikolai Sherstnev, First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Oleg Matskevich, and Vadim Zaryankin planted a tree. In a cozy atmosphere, representatives of the regional and city authorities discussed the company's development issues, taking into account prospective urban development. The conversation on this topic continued at a meeting with the staff of Energokomplekt.

As explained by the chief engineer of the production association, Sergey Krasnovsky, the total area of the future wire drawing and twisting shop for blanks will exceed 4.2 thousand square meters. Its commissioning will not only increase production capacity but also, in the future, allow for the development of innovative products. In particular, this concerns the development of production of signaling and interlocking wires and cables for rolling stock, and the development of production of automotive wires, an experimental batch of which is being launched on the conveyor in cooperation with OJSC BELAZ.

This is only part of the tactical objectives for which the new production facility is being built. The strategic goal of Energokomplekt is to become the leader in the CIS in terms of cable material production volumes, which are planned to be increased to 110 thousand tons per year, and to increase product sales by more than 1.5 times. This will require the creation of over 300 jobs. Thus, the symbolic message from the 2020s will be read by almost a thousand Energokomplekt specialists.
