In Vitebsk, flowers were laid at the monument to 'Paratroopers of All Generations'
As part of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the formation of the 103rd Guards Airborne Division, current and former servicemen of the renowned formation laid flowers at the monument "Paratroopers of All Generations".
As emphasized by the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies, Vladimir Terentyev, this monument was long overdue for the capital of Belarusian paratroopers. The division's servicemen hold solemn events near it, which civilians can also attend.
The paratroopers noted the original concept, and each took a memorable photo against the backdrop of an open parachute frozen in stone – a symbol of the conquerors of the sky.
The younger generation can rightfully be proud of the exploits of the soldiers and officers of one of the best divisions in Belarus, and take an example from the heroes who glorified the 103rd Airborne Division.
