Raid on the implementation of Directive No. 1 concluded in Vitebsk: no violations detected

September 27, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Police officers conducted a raid to enforce Directive No. 1 regarding employees being at the workplace while intoxicated from September 21 to 24 in Vitebsk. As Vladimir Pronko, Deputy Head of the Public Order and Prevention Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, informed a BELTA correspondent, no offenders were identified during the raid. In total, groups of law enforcement officers visited about 20 organizations in the regional center. These were mainly construction enterprises and organizations of the housing and communal services system. Vladimir Pronko noted that during raids in previous years, cases of employees being at the workplace while intoxicated were identified. The achievement of this result this year was made possible by an increased level of responsibility of managers, as well as constant control over the implementation of the Directive by the relevant departments. Currently, such raids are being conducted by employees of territorial internal affairs departments in the districts of the region. In rural areas, their attention is primarily focused on agricultural organizations. Such events will be held in the region on a regular basis, Vladimir Pronko added. -0-
