A concert by the ensemble of soloists "CLASSIC-AVANT-GARDE" will be held at the Vitebsk Philharmonic Hall
On December 21 at 16:00, a chamber music concert by the laureate of international competitions, the ensemble of soloists "CLASSIC-AVANGARD" (Belarus) will be held in the Philharmonic Hall. The artistic director is Vladimir BAIDOV, Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus.
One of the leading instrumental ensembles in Belarus, a regular participant of the I.I. Sollertinsky International Music Festival, the ensemble of soloists "Classic-Avangard" was founded in 1985. The founder of the ensemble and its permanent leader is Vladimir Baidov, a well-known musician, arranger, and conductor in Belarus. The ensemble's unlimited genre and stylistic palette, the number of premiere programs, and the high performance level are the main characteristics of the ensemble of soloists. Its instrumental context includes all instruments of a symphony orchestra (violins, viola, cello, double bass, flute, bassoon, oboe, French horn, clarinet, trombone, trumpet, keyboard group - piano, harpsichord, and percussion).
The very name of the ensemble speaks of its repertoire, defining the creative credo of the ensemble – continuous creative search, the desire to keep up with the times, to discover new names – both in contemporary times and in the distant past. The ensemble and its leader have taken on the noble mission of reviving unknown pages of the national musical heritage, preserving and popularizing new works by contemporary Belarusian composers.
The ensemble's musicians are laureates and diploma winners of various performance competitions (all of them are graduates of the Belarusian Academy of Music). The high professional level of the artists, mobility, and versatile instrumentation allow the ensemble to prepare and perform any programs at a high professional and artistic level in a short period of time.
