В Витебской области 30 детей получили свидетельства «Дитя мира»

Traditionally, on Mother's Day, the Vitebsk regional branch of the Belarusian Peace Foundation honors babies born on September 21, International Day of Peace. Their parents receive corresponding certificates and gifts.

The chairperson of the regional branch of the Belarusian Peace Foundation, Tatyana Tumanova, noted that this time, in the region of Pridvinye, significantly more babies were born on this significant date compared to previous years, and out of 30 children, 12 are young residents of the northern capital.
Vitebsk mothers and fathers were honored at the regional philharmonic hall as part of a festive concert dedicated to Mother's Day. Representatives of the district and city branches of the organization also congratulated their fellow countrymen on new additions to their families that occurred on September 21. It is symbolic that among such parents there are also international couples, therefore the title "Child of Peace" received by their offspring acquires a special meaning.

Public activists have been holding this event for six years. Since 2009, 171 children have been awarded the status of "Child of Peace" in the Vitebsk region.
