In the Vitebsk region, the first three-thousandth harvester was honored

The leading worker was honored near the Bilevo microdistrict of Vitebsk in an oat field, which yields 45 centners per round. In a conversation with journalists, Valentin Yashchenko said that his family and parents are happy for him, seeing their son on television and in newspapers. The third thousand tons were harder to achieve than the others, as he threshed it on spring grains, which have a slightly lower yield than winter grains. But there is an opportunity to aim for 4 thousand tons. The combine operator is originally from Sharkovshchinsky district, and in 2016 he moved to Vitebsk district. Valentin Yuryevich has three children, and the family has an apartment in Tulovo.

The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, noted that he feels joy and pride, both for Valentin Yashchenko and for all the grain growers of the Vitebsk region. They are truly performing a feat, working almost around the clock, and deserve words of gratitude. The weather contributes to harvesting the crop without losses. In general, the harvest is not easy, but the agrarians of the Vitebsk region are currently coping with the fulfillment of the planned targets.

The Chairman of the Vitebsk District Executive Committee, Gennady Sabinich, stated that today the region has surpassed last year's threshing volume, and the agrarians are set to exceed 100 thousand tons.
As of yesterday evening, there were 74 combine harvester crews in the Vitebsk region who had harvested over a thousand tons of grain (30 of them in the Vitebsk district). Sergey Egorov, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Agriculture and Food Production Committee, expressed confidence that the number of leading workers will steadily increase every day.

Nikolay Orlov, Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, congratulated Valentin Yaschenko and all the grain growers of Pridvinye on behalf of the city residents. He thanked them for their dedication to the land, which has been generous this year.
Tatyana Yeroma, Chairperson of the Regional Committee of the Trade Union of Agricultural Workers, presented the combine harvester operator with a diploma, a certificate for 10 basic units, and a valuable gift.
Vladimir Safronov, General Director of the Polotsk Dairy Plant, noted that within the Polotsk Agro-Industrial Association (UP "Rudakovo" has been part of it since spring of this year), each farm accounts for over 20% of the total harvest. On behalf of the APO team, Vladimir Safronov presented Valentin Yaschenko with a bonus of 3 thousand rubles.

Andrey Benko, Director of UP "Rudakovo," reported that the area sown with grain and leguminous crops at the agricultural enterprise is 7.6 thousand hectares, with 83% of the area harvested at a yield of 43 centners per hectare. Twenty-four combine harvester crews are working in the fields, seven of which have harvested over a thousand tons of grain.
