In the Vitebsk region, children will be able to travel to clubs and sections for free
Students of the Vitebsk region will receive the right to free travel on urban public transport for additional classes in clubs and sections from September 1, 2018. This decision was made today by deputies at a session of the regional Council.
Additional measures for social support of students have been adopted on the basis of the law "On Local Government and Self-Government in the Republic of Belarus" and the resolution of the Council of Ministers of February 16, 2011 No. 202 "On some issues of student travel". The right to free travel to institutions of additional education, art, music schools, as well as sports sections and various clubs is granted to students of general secondary and special education institutions located in the Vitebsk region. It was decided that children will be able to travel for free on city buses (except for express routes), as well as urban electric transport from September 1 to June 30. The right is exercised by students based on a certificate. The decision will enter into force on September 1, 2018.
