September 3, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. In the Vitebsk region, 54% of cows, which is about 130 thousand heads, have been transferred to winter stall housing. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Vladimir Mashero, First Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Agriculture and Food Committee. The remaining animals will be moved to premises as the repair of farms and calf pens, currently underway at 198 facilities, is completed. This work is planned to be finished by September 15. In the shortest possible time, 7 modern dairy farms are also to be commissioned in the region. Installation and commissioning work is currently being completed at these facilities. 14 of these facilities have already been launched, Vladimir Mashero added.-0-
