In the Vitebsk region, the heating of residential buildings is beginning
The supply of heat to residential buildings in the Vitebsk region begins on October 3, as reported by the main department of housing and communal services of the regional executive committee.
"This decision was signed today at the regional executive committee. The necessary orders will be sent to the heat supply organizations of the Vitebsk region in the shortest possible time," the main department of housing and communal services reported.
According to RUP "Vitebskenergo", heat has already been supplied to 25% of the residential buildings in the Orsha district. In addition, as of the morning of October 3, heating has been turned on in 100% of social institutions in Vitebsk, Novolukoml, and Orekhovsk. In Polotsk, the supply of heat to social facilities was 95%, in Novopolotsk - 84%, in Orsha - 80%.
The heating season started in the northern region on September 28. First of all, heat was supplied to kindergartens, schools, medical and preventive institutions, social security institutions, museums, state archives, and libraries.
In the current inter-season period, 507 boiler houses will operate in the Vitebsk region. All heat sources and residential facilities have received readiness certificates. During the preparation for winter, dispatch services and emergency crews have been equipped with machinery and personnel. Tasks for the repair and replacement of heating networks, as well as the procurement of local types of fuel, have been completed.
