Production of breeding turkey poults for growing and fattening has been established in the Vitebsk region
The "Khaisy" branch of JSC "Gorodok Poultry Farm" has established a production process for raising and fattening pedigree turkey poults. 26 thousand "little ones" were delivered to the poultry farm from neighboring Poland. During the fattening period, the turkeys surpassed European counterparts by 300-500 grams. Semi-finished products made from healthy and tasty turkey meat are already available at retail outlets in the Vitebsk region. Marinated turkey meat will go on sale for the opening of the dacha and barbecue season.
Currently, the poultry farm houses 543 thousand laying hens and 244 thousand young birds. The cultivation of quails (7600) continues. Quail eggs under the "Mara Gurmana" trademark have repeatedly won gold medals at specialized international exhibitions.
Last year, the poultry facilities of JSC "Gorodok Poultry Farm" were connected by the Anaconda automatic egg collection conveyor. This is a significant breakthrough in the automation of production processes. The enterprise plans to acquire a sorting machine for automatic, human-free, egg packaging. The launch of vacuum packaging for turkey meat is planned, which will double the shelf life of chilled products.
