309 settlements are de-energized in the Vitebsk region

July 28, Vitebsk /Sergey Kochetov - BELTA/. 309 settlements in the Vitebsk region have been de-energized as a result of a thunderstorm. This updated information was reported to a BELTA correspondent by RUP "Vitebskenergo". As of 3:00 PM, more than 50 power lines were damaged in the region, and 526 transformer substations were disconnected. The thunderstorm front mainly passed through the Lepel, Ushachi, Chashniki, Tolochin, and Senno districts. Duty crews of "Vitebskenergo" are working in the affected districts and are taking measures to restore power supply.-0-
