A holding company for the production of meat products is planned to be established in the Vitebsk region
– Recently, a business mission from China visited the Mogilev Meat Processing Plant, which considered an investment project to create a separate system for slaughtering, storing, and transporting beef specifically for the Chinese market. In addition, we are negotiating with a Chinese company that is seeking investors for us to establish a large holding company in the Vitebsk region for the production and processing of beef and meat cattle. We are currently working to further develop cattle breeding in our country and are creating conditions for foreign investors, – said Alexey Bogdanov.
He noted that for meat supplies to China, the implementation of separate slaughtering at enterprises is a crucial issue, to avoid the crossing of beef, pork, and poultry meat on the same line.
– This is a requirement from the Chinese side. It is necessary to adapt to the standards of the target markets to which we intend to supply our products. Belarusian enterprises are restructuring their processes to meet the requirements of the Chinese side, – explained the Head of the Main Department of Foreign Economic Activities.
