In the Vitebsk region, the number of objects involved in economic circulation has almost doubled

The number of real estate objects involved in economic circulation in the Vitebsk region has almost doubled this year, as reported by the Vitebsk Regional Territorial Fund "Vitebskoblimushchestvo".

In total, the list of unused real estate objects for 2017 included almost 650 objects. From January to September, 296 of them were involved in economic circulation (101 of republican ownership, 96 of communal ownership, 46 of ownership by the Vitebsk Regional Consumer Union, 53 of ownership by OJSC), which is almost double compared to the same period last year. 64 objects of district, city, or regional communal ownership were written off, demolished, or mothballed. For the 9 months of last year, this figure was 42 objects, respectively. The plan for involving unused real estate objects of state and non-state ownership located in the Orsha district into economic circulation is under special control. According to the latest data, by the end of the year, it is necessary to involve 193 objects in economic circulation here, and work has already been completed for more than 50% of them. "Regularly updated information on real estate offered for sale, announced auctions, unused property of organizations and enterprises in the region, and the regulatory framework in the sphere of property relations is posted on the internet on the websites of government authorities, and is sent to organizations that promote the development of entrepreneurship and business. Active work in this direction has largely allowed for a significant increase in the number of objects involved in economic circulation," the fund noted.

In addition, property leased for at least three years is being sold to conscientious tenants. Since the beginning of the year, decisions have been made and sale and purchase agreements have been concluded for 11 objects owned by administrative-territorial units of the Vitebsk region. Their market value amounted to Br1.3 million.
