Auto-postmen appeared in the Vitebsk region

In the Vitebsk region, which has the most villages in Belarus, postmen have to walk or cycle about fifty kilometers a day. The situation has been improved in the Polotsk district: here, postmen have been switched to cars.

To make mail delivery more mobile, 6 new cars were purchased. They serve almost 300 villages. A postal vehicle visits each village 5 times a week.
