A traffic rules training bus will appear in the Vitebsk region

A simulator bus that will teach children traffic rules will travel around the Vitebsk region. In ten days, about 4,000 schoolchildren, as well as children from orphanages from all districts of the region, will be able to travel in it. The teacher bus is expected in Vitebsk, Polotsk, Novopolotsk, Glubokoye, Lepel, Orsha and other cities.

The opportunity to give children practical safety lessons became possible as a result of close cooperation between the Belarusian State Automobile Inspectorate and the Russian State Road Safety Inspectorate. Olesya Seregina, Head of the Agitation and Propaganda Department of the Traffic Police Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, said: “The unique simulator bus is a fully equipped mobile classroom. It is designed specifically for practical training of children in the basics of road safety, as well as behavior on the road. It has a system for simulating seat displacement during a collision. Children, fastened with seat belts, feel what happens during an accident, but apart from a slight fright, it poses no danger to them. At the same time, an unfastened dummy falls and receives "injuries". Thus, children are convinced that seat belts are a very important thing. The bus is also equipped with two plasma screens for educational films, as well as a smoke generator to simulate cabin smoke. A traffic police inspector demonstrates how evacuation should take place. Engaging lessons on the simulator will be accompanied by contests, quizzes, thematic games, and even concerts. The regional traffic police department is confident that such an unusual April "School

"safety", launched in the Vitebsk region on the eve of the summer holidays, will help save dozens of children's lives in the future.
