In the Vitebsk region, the process of obtaining readiness certificates for heat sources for the winter season has begun
August 17, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. Heat sources and consumers (enterprises servicing housing stock) of the Vitebsk region have begun to receive readiness certificates for the winter season, the head of the production and technical department of the housing and communal services department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Anatoly Sudak, told a BELTA correspondent.
Preparation of boiler houses for the inter-season period is proceeding according to plan, without disruptions. Thus, work is underway to convert two boilers with a capacity of 2 MW each at the Central Boiler House in Senno, two boilers with a capacity of 2 MW each operating on milled peat at the Central Boiler House in Dubrovno, and another similar one in Tolochin from gas to local fuels. Two boilers with a capacity of 3 MW each on wood chips are being installed at the heat source of the Liozno Central District Hospital. Also, an additional boiler with a capacity of 3 MW is planned to be installed by the autumn-winter season in the village of Farinovo, Polotsk district, in addition to the existing two boilers with a capacity of 2 MW each.
Out of 105 km of heating networks subject to replacement, 38 km have been reconstructed. "Br40 billion was allocated for these purposes. However, the need for additional funding has arisen. This issue is currently under consideration by the Ministry of Finance," noted Anatoly Sudak, expressing confidence in the completion of all work within the established deadlines.
For the inter-season period, 50% of firewood and wood fuel chips have been prepared in the region, or 140 thousand cubic meters and 25 thousand cubic meters, respectively, and there is a reserve of 3.7 thousand tons of furnace fuel oil. The creation of fuel reserves must be completed by October 1.
In total, during the current autumn-winter season, 451 heat sources with a total capacity of 2170 gigacalories per hour will operate in the Vitebsk region. In addition, 12 boiler houses will be transferred to the balance of housing and communal services from social institutions, three of which have already been transferred by the Voronovsky (Vitebsk district), Gluboksky, and Babinichsky (Orsha district) nursing homes for lonely elderly people.-0-
