The ban on visiting forests has been lifted in the Vitebsk region
As reported by Maria Mikhnevich, Deputy General Director of Vitebsk GPLKHO, due to the established low class of fire hazard due to weather conditions, district executive committees have made decisions to lift the ban on visiting forests and peatlands.
Since the beginning of the year, 13 fires have been recorded in the region's forestry enterprises, with 47.7 hectares damaged by fire. State forest protection officers have drawn up 23 administrative protocols for violations of fire safety rules in forests.
