The heating season has started in the Vitebsk region

The heating season began in the Vitebsk region on September 21, as reported by the main department of housing and communal services of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

First, heat began to be supplied to social institutions – kindergartens, schools, hospitals, medical facilities, libraries, archives, and other facilities in this category. The heating of the region's housing stock will begin in accordance with established norms – as soon as the average daily air temperature over five days reaches eight degrees Celsius.

Regarding readiness for the upcoming heating season, the housing and communal services department emphasized that readiness certificates have been obtained for all heat sources. Heat networks have been replaced in full, the necessary supply of firewood has been procured, and hydraulic tests of equipment have been carried out. "All regulatory work has been completed, we are ready for the heating season," the department noted.
