В Витебской области строительство жилья по госзаказу сосредоточено в районах

Construction of residential buildings under state orders in the Vitebsk region is concentrated in the districts, said Igor Isachenko, Chairman of the Committee for Architecture and Construction of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

This year, credit funds from OJSC "ASB Belarusbank" for housing construction with state support for the Vitebsk region amounted to about Br549.5 billion. The main part of this money is directed to the construction of houses in the districts of the region. "This is due to the fact that the wage level of residents in the districts is lower than that of the population in large cities. And state support in such conditions is very timely. And the second reason for this decision is to provide work for district PMCs," the interlocutor noted.

Large cities have more opportunities for the construction of commercial housing; as for state orders, subsidized loans are used here to build apartments for large families, as well as families who have lived in dormitories for more than 10 years.

In general, this year in the region, it is planned to build about 75 thousand square meters of housing with state support, of which 60 thousand square meters are multi-apartment multi-story buildings, and 15 thousand square meters are individual houses.

Igor Isachenko noted that construction is most actively carried out in the Lepel district (1-2 houses are built annually), as well as in the Gluboksky, Miorsky, Shumilinsky, and Beshenkovichsky districts.

According to the task of the Council of Ministers, 290 thousand square meters of housing should be built in the region this year. "The region has no problems with fulfilling this task. Based on the results of work for three quarters, we intend to commission 75% - about 220 thousand square meters of housing. And by the end of the year, we will fully complete the plan," the chairman of the committee concluded.
