In the Vitebsk region, studies have been suspended in two schools due to ARVI
In the Vitebsk region, the educational process has been suspended in two educational institutions due to an increase in the incidence of acute respiratory infections, the Vitebsk Regional Center for Hygiene, Epidemiology and Public Health informed a BELTA correspondent.
In order to isolate students, classes at secondary school No. 22 in Bolbasovo (Orsha) and Polotsk gymnasium No. 1 have been temporarily suspended by decisions of the education departments.
A seasonal increase in morbidity is observed in the Vitebsk region. Non-influenza respiratory viruses, such as adenovirus and respiratory syncytial virus, predominate in the etiological structure of acute respiratory infections. To prevent morbidity, a set of measures is being carried out in accordance with the developed territorial plans, and healthcare facility employees have intensified informational work with the public. In general, the situation is under constant control, specialists noted.
