At Sunday's meeting of the regional headquarters for combating coronavirus infection, the operating procedure for schools and preschool educational institutions in the Vitebsk region for the near future was announced.
As reported by Dmitry Khoma, Head of the Main Department for Education of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, by the decision of the President, school holidays have been extended for a week, so students should stay at home, where they have spent the previous time. It is necessary to minimize the movement of children as much as possible, not to visit grandparents, especially if they have not been with them before, to eliminate all possible risks.
Preschool institutions will continue their work as usual, despite the fact that the number of children attending them has decreased due to the epidemic situation. The work of kindergartens is organized in compliance with all prescribed sanitary and hygienic standards, which exclude the объединение of children from different groups into one, even if they are extremely small in number today.
