Restrictions on forest visits are being reintroduced in the Vitebsk region
Hot and dry weather is bringing back restrictions on forest visits. Currently, fire hazard class 3 is established in the forests of the region. Restrictions have been introduced based on the decisions and orders of district executive committees in 17 districts of the region, with the exception of Braslavsky, Verkhnedvinsky, Dokshitsky, Ushachsky, Chashniksky, Sharkovshchinsky districts and the city of Vitebsk.
We remind you that according to the Code of Administrative Offenses, violation of the ban on visiting forests is punishable by a fine of up to 25 basic units. If this leads to the destruction or damage of forests or peatlands, a fine of 25 to 50 basic units is imposed. For setting fires in prohibited areas, a warning or a fine of up to 12 basic units is provided.
