In the Vitebsk region, more than 220 sites will be improved during the "Clean Forest" campaign
As noted in the department, the most active cleanup efforts will take place in the territories of the Disna, Polotsk, and Vitebsk forestry enterprises. In total, according to preliminary data, about 4.5 thousand residents of the region will take part in the campaign. Anyone can join the campaign. To do this, it is enough to contact the forestry and express your desire to help clean up the forest. Organizations of the Ministry of Forestry will provide participants with inventory.
The "Clean Forest" campaign has been held on the initiative of the Ministry of Forestry since 2010. The main goal is to attract public attention to the need to treat the forest with care and not litter it.
The event is actively supported by local executive authorities, state, public, and commercial organizations, schools, and higher education institutions.
