The patriotic labor project "Winter Route" will be held for the first time in the Vitebsk region
The Republican patriotic labor project "Winter Route" will be held for the first time from January 24-29 in the Vitebsk region. The participants' route includes Novopolotsk, Dubrovensky, Orshansky and Tolochinsky districts, as reported by the regional executive committee.
Fighters of student teams from VSU named after P.M. Masherov, Polotsk State University, and Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine will take part in the project. "Fighters of student teams will provide patronage assistance to the elderly. One of the important tasks for young people is to care for monuments and obelisks, as well as to create a common diary-archive of stories of veterans of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers from different districts," the regional executive committee noted.
In addition, the detachment fighters will conduct master classes in decorative and applied arts for students, and will tell schoolchildren about their higher education institutions and the professions that can be acquired after graduation.
The "Winter Route" project is organized by the Republican Staff of Student Teams of BRSM with the support of the Ministry of Education and executive authorities. The project starts in Grodno on January 23.
