A ban on visiting forests will be introduced in the Vitebsk region from August 23

- Due to a significant increase in temperature and lack of precipitation, there is an increase in the complex fire hazard index, and as a result, a 4th class fire hazard in forests. Therefore, from tomorrow, a ban on visiting forests throughout the Vitebsk region will be introduced, – explained Vladimir Konkov, Head of the Department for Forest Protection, Security, Hunting and Hunting Management of the Vitebsk State Forestry Association. – The ban will be lifted when heavy precipitation occurs in the region and the air temperature decreases.
