In the Vitebsk region, 30 organizations were identified that paid wages "in envelopes"
The tax authorities of the Vitebsk region for January-June 2015 identified 30 business entities paying wages without reflecting them in accounting records. This was reported to BELTA by the press center of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties Inspectorate for the Vitebsk region.
Based on the results of the inspections, more than Br318 million were additionally charged to the budget, including Br181.7 million in income tax. In addition, 18 legal entities were identified, which accrued wages but did not pay them.
For 181 managers, founders, their close relatives, as well as employees of organizations paying wages without reflecting them in accounting or in insignificant amounts, a comparison of incurred expenses with received income was carried out. As a result, in 105 of them, expenses exceeded income, and they will have to pay an additional Br443.4 million in income tax to the budget.
