Production of corn seeders launched in Vitebsk region

A Vitebsk enterprise has launched joint production of corn planters and manure spreaders with two plants from the Grodno and Mogilev regions. "Tiraspol agrotechservice" has started producing new products in cooperation with plants from Lida and Bobruisk. The agreement provides for the production of 100 corn planters and the same number of manure spreaders. An agreement on the latter agricultural machines was reached on September 4, 2023, and the first machine kits arrived at the plant on October 2.

"The first machine, a manure spreader, has been produced. The rest are planned to be manufactured jointly with Bobruiskagromash before the spring sowing campaign. All this is done here; we take machine kits, and we have 30% localization. Our enterprise manufactures certain components and assembles this machine under its own brand and trademark. We have worked in the same way with Lidaagroprommash on the corn planter," clarified Nikolai Korotkevich, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Agriculture and Food Committee. The production of corn planters has also already started.

"Today, we are talking not just about Belarusian production, but about production established here, in the Vitebsk region. In addition, enterprises in the region have mastered the production of mowers, seeding and soil-cultivating units, rake-turners, tine harrows, and machines for applying mineral fertilizers. Our enterprises confidently occupy their niche and produce equipment for their region," emphasized Nikolai Korotkevich.
