A photo exhibition 'Dads' has opened at the V. Lenin Vitebsk Regional Library
The solemn opening of the photo exhibition "Dads", dedicated to responsible fatherhood, took place at the V. Lenin Vitebsk Regional Library. The exhibition can be visited until February 9. This project is organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection in cooperation with the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF).
The exhibition features 14 photographs showcasing vivid moments of interaction between fathers and children from different regions of Belarus. The subjects are completely different and at the same time equally happy. One of them depicts the chief physician of the Tolochin Central Regional Hospital, a father of many children, Alexey Vishnevsky, whose name was added to the Tolochin District Honor Board in 2022 for his labor achievements. When he spoke about his family, his voice was filled with genuine kindness and tenderness.
– My wife and I cherish every minute spent in the family circle. Thanks to the fact that our children are of different ages, we will feel young next to them for a long time to come, – the man smiles. – Being medical professionals, we try to instill in our children responsiveness and a willingness to help people.
Guests were introduced to five more wonderful fathers of the region: international driver Roman Tsvetkov, track foreman of the Vitebsk branch of Belarusian Railways Andrey Krestyanov (pictured), psychologist of the Territorial Center for Social Services of the Pervomaisky District of Vitebsk Roman Kandybo, serviceman Alexander Zhulevich, and international freight driver from Gorodok Vladimir Kostimenko. These men shared their parenting experience and future plans, and received memorable gifts from the Belarusian Children's Fund. Each of them reminded those present that the well-being of the state is formed by the happiness of each unit of society, and a man, as the head of the family, bears responsibility for it.
