В витебском микрорайоне Билево открылось отделение милиции
A police station has opened in the Vitebsk microdistrict of Bilevo. Eight district inspectors and five criminal investigation officers will serve its territory, BELTA was informed by Olga Shkuratova, the official representative of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

More than 40,000 people live in the young microdistrict of Bilevo. It houses the country's largest school with over 2,500 students, seven garage cooperatives, and a vehicle depot. The district continues to be actively developed, with seven new multi-story buildings planned for completion this year. "Due to the intensive development of the microdistrict, there was an urgent need to redistribute the forces and resources of the internal affairs bodies to ensure the protection of public order, personal and property security of citizens. Due to the increase in calls regarding reports and statements about crimes and administrative offenses, and also considering that Bilevo is the extreme point of Pervomaysky district and is located at a significant distance from the police department, it was decided to create a police station here within the structure of the Pervomaysky District Department of Internal Affairs," noted Olga Shkuratova.

The opening ceremony was attended by Ivan Kubrakov, Head of the Regional Internal Affairs Directorate, and Alexander Chernyavsky, Head of the Pervomaysky District Department of Internal Affairs. The head of the Vitebsk region police noted that maximally comfortable conditions for service have been created here for law enforcement officers, and they are required to be professionals, strictly upholding the rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests of citizens.
