On this day, the warmest words of congratulations, wishes of goodness and happiness were addressed to both expectant mothers, who are awaiting the main event in their lives, and those who have already given birth to babies, and flowers were presented to them.
– It is always a pleasure to perform such an honorable mission, because behind this event, which has happened or is about to happen in each of your lives, is the main thing: the number of our Belarusian children is increasing, – noted Vyacheslav Durnov. – And this is wonderful. It is especially pleasant to congratulate mothers who, on these pre-holiday days on the eve of spring, have given their loved ones the main gift – they have given birth to new family members. The faces of mothers are radiant, the faces of newborns shine with a gentle light, relatives are waiting for them at home to surround them with the love and warmth they deserve. As the chief physician of the regional maternity hospital, deputy of the Vitebsk City Council of Deputies Elena Leonovich, informed media representatives, today 60% of women giving birth are those who came to the healthcare facility for their second and third child.
