In Zdravnevo, the winners of the regional competition among journalists and media editorial offices of the Vitebsk region were awarded
In particular, one of the most pressing issues is increasing the economy's immunity to sanctions pressure. Alexander Subbotin noted that headquarters for studying the situation at enterprises operate at the government, regional, and district levels. A certain snapshot of information is collected weekly, and decisions are made as needed to minimize negative impacts. It is important that the work is conducted non-publicly, as there are structures abroad that monitor information. In general, overcoming sanctions pressure requires great effort, and so far, everything is working out. According to the head of the region, the imposition of trade restrictions against Belarus by the West is a struggle for markets. On a global scale, our small country has a very high indicator for food production: third place for butter and dry milk, fourth for skimmed milk, and fifth for cheese. We hold almost a third of the world market in the production of heavy-duty vehicles and potash fertilizers.
Regarding the activities of agro-industrial associations (APO), Alexander Subbotin stated that their creation was the only correct step to save a significant part of agricultural enterprises from bankruptcy. APOs yield results, but not yet as much as desired. The main thing is that these structures are viable; the whole world is moving towards large-scale production.
This year's sowing campaign started with a noticeable delay, but it was possible to reach last year's pace. Mineral fertilizers were accumulated more than twice over. Fuel availability prevented downtime of equipment. It was possible to select personnel to assist agricultural workers.

One of the pressing issues is the condition of the roads; with their total length (over 16 thousand km), the Vitebsk region ranks second in the republic. Unfortunately, sufficient funds have not been allocated for the proper repair of transport arteries in the last few seasons. This year, it is planned to spend almost 60 million rubles from all sources of funding. With the involvement of Western loans, it was planned to modernize republican roads from Vitebsk to Orsha, from Lepel to Polotsk, and to complete the bypass of the regional center, but the programs were curtailed due to sanctions. The plans will be implemented with the help of the Eurasian Development Bank or a Chinese financial institution.
Aleksandr Subbotin was asked where he gets his information. He replied that mainly from specialized sources necessary for his work. In a broader sense, from Telegram channels.
The governor was also asked about the criteria for selecting personnel. First and foremost, professional qualities and specialized education are important to him. These may be people who are not always easily managed, but they must have a creative approach to their work and defend their point of view.

The press conference was held at the I. Repin Museum-Estate as part of Aleksandr Subbotin's meeting with media representatives, printing enterprises, and communication organizations on the occasion of professional holidays – Press Day and Radio, Television, and Communications Workers' Day.
An excursion and an interactive exhibition of mass media, printing enterprises, and communication organizations were organized for the meeting participants. In particular, the regional newspaper "Vitebskiye Vesti" presented the winning logo of the republican competition "Year of Historical Memory," developed by the leading editor of the online resource, Petr Chimkovsky. The Vitebsk branch of RUP "Belpochta" introduced the National Postal Electronic System, the "Mobile Postman" software package, and the operation of a parcel locker. The Vitebsk branch of RUP "Beltelecom" presented the "My City" project, developed within the framework of the State Program "Digital Development of Belarus." This platform is designed to unite the most in-demand city services into a single ecosystem and provide convenient access to them.

The final chord was the award ceremony for the winners of the competition among journalists and media outlets.
