Vadim Devyatovsky, Alexey Talay and Nikolay Martynov will carry the "Flame of Peace" of the II European Games through the Vitebsk region
In particular, torchbearers will visit enterprises well-known far beyond Belarus: OJSC "Naftan", including the "Polimir" plant, "Marko" holding, "Vitba" confectionery factory, Glubokoe dairy and canning plant, Orsha flax mill. They will appreciate the beauty of the natural pearls of the Vitebsk region – the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve and the "Yelnya" Republican Landscape Reserve, and admire the historical and cultural attractions.
Torchbearers will include famous athletes, representatives of culture, science, art and business, and public figures. Among the natives of the Vitebsk region who plan to participate in the race are Nikolai Martynov, General Director of the "Marko" holding, Honored Artist of Belarus Larisa Gribaleva, Olympic silver medalist Igor Kanygin and bronze medalist Vadim Devyatovsky, Paralympians Alexey Talai and Evgeny Lukyanenko.
The six-day marathon through the northern region of the country promises to be bright and eventful.
Sports and cultural festivals will be organized in the settlements where the stops will be made.
