V. Andreychenko will order to allocate up to Br5 billion for the repair of a secondary school in Dokshitsy
Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko visited a number of social facilities in the Dokshitsy district of the Vitebsk region today, including Secondary School No. 1 in Dokshitsy, for the repair of which he intends to allocate Br4-5 billion, a BELTA correspondent reports.
Dokshitsy Secondary School No. 1 is about 40 years old, and during this time, no major repairs have been carried out here. Floors, windows, and plumbing require replacement. Br4 billion is needed to carry out the work. "If the design and estimate documentation is ready this year, then I will resolve the issue of Br4-5 billion for this school," said Vladimir Andreichenko, adding that if the documentation is ready, repairs can begin as early as next year. "We will help with money, and everything else will depend on you. You need to find a good contractor to do a comprehensive repair, not cosmetic," the Chairman of the House of Representatives noted, addressing the school staff. Vladimir Andreichenko inspected the school classrooms, visited the gym, where he talked with students from one of the junior classes. A water and wellness center is being built next to the first Dokshitsy school; in the future, a gallery will connect them so that children can get from the school to the pool at any time of the year without going outside. In addition, it is planned that children from all over the district will come to the center to learn to swim.
The Chairman of the House of Representatives visited the construction site and familiarized himself with the progress of the work. Earlier, Vladimir Andreichenko took part in the opening of a round-the-clock care unit for the elderly and disabled in the agro-town of Kralevshchina.
