An open-air vernissage has started its work in the festival city of Vitebsk, the BELTA correspondent was informed by the Vitebsk Center for Contemporary Art.

The open-air art gallery "Vitebsk Vernissage" is located in the historical part of the city on Suvorov and Krylov streets, near the Vitebsk Regional Museum of Local Lore. About 200 artists and portrait painters from Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine have expressed their desire to participate in the project. Souvenir products with national and Vitebsk themes are also presented at the vernissage, and an open music stage will be organized.

Next to the artists on Tolstoy and Pushkin streets, 250 artisans from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, and Latvia will be located – these are participants of the folk crafts and arts fair "City of Masters," which traditionally takes place in Vitebsk during the "Slavianski Bazaar."

The XXIII International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" will be held from July 10 to 14. It is expected that representatives from about 30 countries will take part in the events.
