Verkhnedvinsk has expanded its borders by almost 220 hectares
September 16, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Verkhnedvinsk has increased its area by almost 220 hectares. The decision to change the boundaries of the district center was made today at a regular session of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, a BELTA correspondent reports.
The expansion of the city's boundaries is envisaged by the Master Plan, which defines the territories necessary for its development. Currently, housing construction is actively underway in Verkhnedvinsk - both apartment buildings and individual housing construction. To eliminate the shortage of vacant plots, design documentation has been developed for the Yugo-Vostok individual housing development area, which provides for 85 land plots for such construction. The Master Plan also envisages the construction of a kindergarten, a grocery store and a non-food store, and a gas station in this microdistrict.
As a result of the boundary change, lands of 9 land users and reserve lands will be included within the city limits. Based on the Land Code of the Republic of Belarus, changes in the boundaries of administrative-territorial units do not entail the termination of rights to land plots. -0-
