Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory took part in the International Cheese Forum

An event that brought together cheese producers from all over Belarus was recently held in Minsk. According to Svetlana Tsyro, Head of Sales and Supply Department at OJSC "Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory", innovations in production technology, quality, food safety, certification, and legislative news were discussed at the meeting.

Great attention was paid to the export prospects of products from domestic cheese makers. In particular, representatives of the Russian National Union of Dairy Producers "Soyuzmoloko" spoke about the specifics of the activities of Belarusian enterprises within the framework of the Customs Union. The state of the European dairy market and its development trends were also discussed.

– This information turned out to be useful for us, as we export 60% of our manufactured products. Therefore, it is important to know the current realities in order to maintain a stable presence in the foreign market. This will help to consolidate existing positions and find new sales markets, – noted Svetlana Tsyro.

In addition to Russia, OJSC "Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory" sells its products in Kazakhstan and China. It is worth noting that this is one of the few Belarusian enterprises that have EU quality certificates.
