VSTU will train entrepreneurs and unemployed individuals in business administration
– The main feature of our educational program, which distinguishes it from existing generally accepted methods, is the development of a curriculum based on a survey of business entities. Previously, we found out from the respondents the list of disciplines they needed, their preferred form of study (distance or blended), and the class schedule, – says the project manager, Head of the Department of Economic Theory and Marketing, Galina Yasheva.
The first group of students, about 30 people, will be enrolled in April. It is planned that these will be classes for the unemployed. The form of study is blended, and knowledge can be acquired in online and offline modes. 8 out of 10 audio lectures have already been recorded, and 12 more video tutorials on business administration are being prepared. All necessary materials will also be available remotely – users will be able to access them on the website created for the project. The usual lecture and practical classes for students will remain, but in a smaller volume. In addition, as part of the project implementing new training technologies for small and medium-sized enterprises, the first textbook on business planning in the republic, approved by the Ministry of Education, will be published, as well as a workbook on creating a business plan. It will contain the entire algorithm of actions from choosing an idea to the necessary calculations of the effectiveness of the implemented project. It is expected that such a methodological guide will be in demand not only for those who are starting their own business for the first time but also for working entrepreneurs and specialists as a methodological guide to improve the effectiveness of their activities.
