The VII International Forum "Innovations. Investments. Prospects" will be held in Vitebsk on May 17-18, as reported by the Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center.
This year, the forum will be held under the slogan "Vitebsk Region 2018 as a meeting place for innovative demand and supply for the purpose of developing entrepreneurial initiative." In accordance with this, at the Vitebsk Concert Hall, developments and business programs, energy-saving technologies that can improve the economic environment, infrastructure, transport, medicine, finance, and opportunities for their implementation will be discussed.
"Special attention will be paid to the issues of small and medium-sized businesses," the organizers noted. "This primarily concerns the conditions for supporting entrepreneurship by the state, changes in conceptual approaches to control and supervision, increasing the accessibility of financial resources, creating new tax conditions, and conditions for involving large groups of the population in the entrepreneurial environment."
The event will be divided into two blocks: a business program and a technology exhibition, in which innovative companies, industrial enterprises, research institutes, and universities can participate. As in the previous year, companies from Russia, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Germany, and the PRC will be guests of the forum. The organizers are the Vitebsk Regional and City Executive Committees, the Regional Marketing Center, and the administration of the Vitebsk Free Economic Zone.
